ENRAPTURED WITH RAPTORS
ages 8-9 (registration #5686)
Want to learn all about the birds of prey called raptors? Find out what characteristics all raptors have in common and the differences between owls, falcons, hawks, and other raptors. Take part in activities at The Raptor Center, see live raptors up close, plus attend a related field trip.

TRC is partnering with Tamarack Nature Center for Raptor Rendezvous camp.
Intended for students entering 3rd and 4th grades.

Join Tamarack Nature Center and TRC to experience the fascinating world of raptors. View owls, eagles, falcons, hawks and vultures up close as you study habitat, diet and adaptations of these birds of prey on TNC property. Learn how to be both animal trainer and veterinarian through behavioral training, raptor anatomy and basic rehabilitation during a special behind the scenes tour of TRC.

The Raptors of Minnesota
The Raptors of Minnesota program is presented from 1 to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday (except holidays and days The Raptor Center is hosting a special event). Meet a variety of live raptors and learn what you can do to help protect the environment we share. Program includes a tour of The Raptor Center and the outdoor housing area, home of 32 education raptors. Openings available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Program cost:

  • $5.50 per student or senior
  • $8.00 per adult
